Anyway, upon the release of the latest and final Leader Short Story, Velen: Prophet's Lesson, recently, I found myself greatly inspired to write something about Velen. Just as I began to ponder what kind of story I could possibly write about such a benevolent and infinitely wise being without it turning out bland and predictable, I was hit with the amazing idea of juxtaposing the Prophet of the Light with the Cult of the Forgotten Shadow.

This story is what that idea has led to. It's quite philosophical and touches on what I think would be a particularly interesting plotline to involve both Velen and the Cult of Shadow, the latter having yet been untouched by in-game content as well as novel content as far as I'm aware.
